I’m Mattia, a Lead Product Designer working on complex B2B product problems.
I’ve helped grow order entry, improve conversion across sign-up, quoting, and checkout flows, and bring design work further upstream into product direction, delivery quality, and business impact.
My work sits between product, design, engineering, and data. I spend a lot of time framing problems, looking at user behavior, testing ideas, prototyping, and working closely with stakeholders to turn ambiguity into clearer decisions. Over time, my role has grown from designing flows to shaping workflows, improving handovers, mentoring designers, and helping teams stay focused on the right problems.
I’m especially drawn to products that behave like systems, where growth, operations, user experience, and technical constraints affect each other. That is one reason I’ve worked so much with SQL, Mixpanel, Hotjar, qualitative research, and workflows that make practical use of AI. Not because the tools matter on their own, but because they help me understand what is going on, why it is going on, and where design can make a measurable difference.
I like to dig into problems, write to think, and draw to make complexity easier to grasp. I enjoy work that needs both sharp thinking and practical execution: improving a registration flow, reducing friction in checkout, making internal workflows easier to use, or helping a team turn scattered inputs into a better product decision.
Right now, I’m going deeper into product strategy, analytics, and design workflows that make practical use of AI. The direction that fits me best is one where design is expected to do more than ship interfaces: define the problem, question assumptions, connect decisions to evidence, and help the business move with more clarity.
