Hi, I’m Mattia — a Product Designer with a strong focus on UX strategy and a practical mindset for solving real-world problems. I work at the intersection of product, design, and engineering, with a track record of delivering improvements that move the needle for both users and the business.
Over the past years, my role has expanded from designing flows to actively shaping roadmaps, streamlining development handovers, and guiding UI designers. I'm most energized when I’m contributing across disciplines, helping teams align on the right problems and deliver smart, scalable solutions.

How I work
◪ Design Backed by Data
I rely on a mix of behavioral analytics, user feedback, and pattern recognition to guide design decisions. Whether it's reviewing heatmaps to uncover usability gaps or using MixPanel and Hotjar to validate assumptions, I treat data as a conversation with users — one that helps me design with purpose, reduce guesswork, and prioritize what actually improves the experience.
◪ Tight Collaboration Across Teams
I work closely with product managers and engineers to catch technical risks early, clarify specs, and reduce ambiguity. This has helped improve delivery speed and cut down on rework across sprints.
◪ Building Systems That Scale
I’ve led improvements in how we document, review, and hand off designs — from Figma component libraries to Jira process tweaks. These changes have made it easier for teams to stay in sync, especially in fast-moving environments.
◪ Mentorship & Ownership
I coach UI designers and support engineers by staying involved from early concept to final implementation. I’ve taken the lead on several initiatives pushing each from idea to release.
What's next
I'm currently building on my knowledge of product analytics and AI-assisted UX to speed up experimentation and design smarter, faster iterations. My aim is to step into a role where I can contribute at a more strategic level — shaping product direction, mentoring other designers, and leading work that drives results.
