Evaa is a groundbreaking platform that revolutionizes marketing research, particularly in the realm of qualitative user interviews. Addressing the critical gap in affordable and scalable solutions for SMEs, Evaa offers a comprehensive suite of features that redefine customer understanding. By seamlessly integrating AI/ML technology with classical marketing research techniques, Evaa empowers users to conduct qualitative interviews at scale, at a fraction of the cost and time compared to traditional methods.
Our goal was to create an intuitive user interface that would enable users to engage effectively with an AI voice guiding them through qualitative surveys. Additionally, we aimed to develop a cutting-edge landing page that effectively communicates the brand message, offers, and unique selling proposition of the product.
I had the pleasure to work in collaboration with another designer. I spearheaded the conceptualization and execution of the UI strategy, ensuring that every aspect of the interface resonated with user expectations and facilitated seamless interaction. Collaborating closely with the development team, I provided expert guidance to align the design with the overarching objectives of the project while maintaining a keen focus on user-centricity and brand identity.
Adopting a User-Centered Design (UCD) approach was crucial for understanding user needs and aligning design solutions with business objectives. Through close collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional teams, empathy was prioritized to ensure that the final product met user expectations. By embracing Design Thinking principles, iterative research, prototyping, and testing were engaged to uncover insights and iterate on design concepts. Implementing Atomic Design principles further enhanced our process by breaking down the UI into reusable components, fostering consistency and scalability.
By leveraging low-, mid-, and high-fidelity prototypes, we facilitated early-stage feedback collection and iteration, ensuring that the design evolved in alignment with user needs and business goals. Low-fidelity prototypes served as agile tools for rapid ideation and exploration, while mid-fidelity prototypes allowed for a deeper dive into design details and interaction flows. Transitioning to high-fidelity prototypes provided stakeholders with a realistic visualization of the final product, enriched with polished visuals and interactive elements. This iterative approach, rooted in cutting-edge UI design principles such as responsive design, micro-interactions, and intuitive navigation, ensured that the final UI embodied both user-centricity and strategic alignment with business objectives.
User feedback on the UI/UX design implementation for the Evaa platform has been highly favorable, with users describing it as "gorgeous and effortless." The seamless navigation and visually appealing interface have significantly enhanced their overall experience, underscoring the success of the design approach in meeting user expectations and fostering engagement with the platform.
Moving forward, one of the crucial developments for the Evaa platform will be the implementation of a Dashboard to illustrate effortlessly and clearly all the data gained from the automated qualitative interviews. This enhancement will further streamline user interaction and provide valuable insights in a user-friendly manner.
The development of the Evaa platform has not only advanced user-centric design principles but also increased awareness and knowledge in the field of Conversational Design. The project has improved understanding of the relationship between humans and AI models, contributing to the evolution of design practices in this domain.
Due to time constraints, prototypes for the Evaa platform were delivered at a fast pace. However, this process highlighted the need for deeper exploration in conversational design, particularly when the main input is vocal rather than text-based. In future projects, more resources will be allocated to understanding vocal input design patterns and systems to optimize user experiences effectively.
